Fifteen minutes a day.
What does it add up to?
Lists grow because we save for a free weekend that never comes. Set the minutes you really have and see how fast a daily habit clears the queue.
15 minutes a day clears 56 pieces a month — about 19.8 books’ worth of words a year.
About 1,920 minutes of reading in the queue.

Four sliders, four sums.
Every number in the forecast comes from the four sliders. Here’s exactly how.
- 01
Adjust for your pace
Item lengths assume 235 words a minute. Read faster and each item shrinks in proportion — never below one minute.
- 02
Divide by your window
Queue size is items × adjusted length. Days to backlog zero is that total ÷ your daily minutes, rounded up. The 30-day dent is what 30 of those days clear.
- 03
Count the words
Daily minutes × 365 × your pace gives words read in a year. Divide by 65,000 — a typical book — for the book equivalent.
