Leaving another app?
Here’s where to land.
Whether your old reader shut down, costs $120 a year, or quietly turned into a write-only graveyard — pick the app you’re leaving and we’ll show you honestly how My Minute Mix compares.
Which app are you switching from? Pick one.
Mozilla shut Pocket down in 2025 and disabled exports on 12 November 2025.
My Minute Mix fits if you want a clean, free home for articles and YouTube videos that helps you actually finish what you save, instead of rebuilding a 2,000-item graveyard.
All the alternatives guides. Each one says where they win.

Here’s the honest trade, so you can decide before you move anything.
A queue that fits your minutes
- Reading time and video length measured on save.
- Mixes for 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes, or Custom.
- Long YouTube videos split into creator chapters or 5-minute parts, with resume.
- Import your Pocket, Instapaper, Raindrop or browser-bookmarks export — up to 2,000 links at a time.
- Free, no paid tier, and no AI on your saves.
Things we don’t do (yet)
- There’s no export yet. Links you import or save live in your account.
- There’s no reader view or offline mode — saved items open on the original page.
- No highlights, tags or folders. The library has tabs (All · Videos · Articles · Audio · Completed) and ⌘K search.
- The Chrome extension works in Chromium browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store. Android share-sheet saving is coming soon; there’s no iOS app.
Bring your list.
Leave the graveyard.
Import your old export or save a handful of links, ask for a 15-minute mix, and see how it feels. Free, no paid tier.
